Save Rochester Square Spiritualist Temple

Developers in London have applied to Camden Borough Council for permission to demolish the Rochester Square Spiritualist Temple. They want to build residential units and a gallery there. This is one of the most famous Spiritualist churches in the world and is one of the cornerstones of Spiritualism in Britain. It was founded in 1926 and has hosted such greats as Arthur Conan Doyle and Helen Duncan. Please sign this petition to save it: https://gopetition.com/petitions/save-rochester-spiritualist-temple.html.

Margaret Hahn, Helen Duncan's granddaughter, as made the following appeal to the Spiritualist National Union:
"Helen Duncan's granddaughter
My personal statement:
I became involved in assisting Rochester Square Spiritualist Temple, to help their members save their church. Not many people may know, but my grandmother Helen Duncan, was visited by someone of that congregation, when she was in Holloway prison awaiting trial.
I can inform you first hand after reviewing Camden Planning documents via online, from my understanding and from my own research, these are the facts I have found. The SNU has lied about the church closing in 2012, it may look to have closed in January 2014, but online it is written that the last meeting was on the 6thSeptember 2014. It was only closed to be refurbished this is SNU statement in The Evening Standard.
How can members support or trust an organization that lies on public record? As I've stated before, I have heard from many churches up and down the country, hearing the same story of churches being closed after they have asked for my help from their own organisation, who are listed as a charity.
This is the first time I became involved since this Church has such historical value to many Spiritualists that care. As one of the greatest physical mediums of our times Helen Duncan's granddaughter, I knew I had to become involved.
I would like to ask the SNU why don't they use the 13 million pounds that are publicly known to be in their bank account. Yes you heard me correct 13 million, is that there to help the community? Every charity should have six months in reserves, but 13 million? I will correct this statement it's 11 million in assets. From the charity commission. Link below anyone can look up the financials.
I worked for Charities and any extra money we always reinvested it into the community we served. Yes, I know the SNU will do fundraising and give that money to another charity but how much do they give from their bank account?
The SNU has a legal, ethical and moral responsibility to maintain a property since taking on the role as trustee’s, It appears no maintenance, or refurbishment way done to the exterior, allowing for overgrowth. So what happens when the Trustee who took over the building neglects it. I'll tell you it becomes an eyesore within the community. How does a community respond to an eyesore they want it gone.
Another question I have to the SNU is couldn't you have spent 50 pound a month out of your 13 million in the bank to ensure that the property didn't become an eyesore?
It was mentioned in a newspaper article back in March 2014, which involved some squatters, the SNU spokesperson stated they would refurbish the building, what happened?
Was it left intentionally to appear as an eyesore to the community in which it served? I believe this is exactly what was done. I will attach pictures so you can see.
The question is who do you trust when the very body, that the church has become affiliated with such as the SNU, don’t act in the best interests of the church, their members or the community. I have heard that many churches have taken out loans to help cover the costs, only to have their churches sieged on failure to meet the requirements in the upkeep. Is this the reason why so many churches are closing and being sold off, to cover the cost of a take-out loan? Another thing I have heard and is common knowledge within the Spiritualists Community is if a church has problems or the SNU has wants to sell the church. The SNU puts in their own committee forcing members out and of course the SNU committee wil vote however the NEC wants. Selling the church.
I'd like to ask the SNU out of all the churches they've sold over the years how many have been restablished? My guess is it's not many
Let's see if I get a response from the SNU.
Surely, Spiritualists should help Spiritualists, like some did in the past, like Hannen Swaffer, Barbie (Maurice Barbanell) who were a part of this very Church, who supported my grandmother. Look what happened to my grandmother and her personal property. I put the question to you, where do your loyalties stand? To fight for what is right or to bury your head in the sand. It might this church now, but tomorrow it might be yours. Same thing goes for your certification I know of one man who fought to save Wimbledon church and the SNU revoked his certification. Good medium too, yes SNU I hear everything. Pretty sad that I 10,000 miles away know what's going on."

Kate's New Baby

When I became a conspiracy theorist I suddenly found that I was making predictions that came true. On the Christopher Everard Show on TFR the other night I said that because the twentieth anniversary of Diana's death represented an "informational choke point" we should expect some announcement around the time of the decade anniversary from the Royal Family on another major matter. This was intended to direct the emotional wave of the public in their attitude to the Royals. I suggested possibly Prince Philip dying or an announcement that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, would be having another baby, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/ben-emlyn-jones-on-christopher-everard.html. Lo and behold: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41148027. I made this correct prediction not because I have become clairvoyant, but because I understand the signs of the Hidden Hand and how it operates.

Grass Circles

As the 2017 crop circle season draws to a close, believers in the hundred percent man-made hypothesis slap each other on the backs, as they do every year, in a curious mixture of frustration and self-congratulatory glee over the fact that there are still people out there who don't accept their explanation for the phenomenon. In the background links below I explain in detail why I am one of those people. One fact that is often overlooked by media reports into crop circles is that they are far older than most people think. They have been reported for several centuries before the modern crop circle era that began in the 1970's, albeit previously they were much rarer. Also patterns similar to crop circles sometimes appear in other matrices. It's as if whatever intelligence creates these patterns sees the crop simply as a convenient medium in the absence of which they would use another. Sometimes equally intricate and beautiful patterns appear in snow, without any footprints near them, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Eou22AVDZc. And in sand, see: http://www.heart.co.uk/news/quirky/weird-wonderful/incredible-amazing-sand-cirlces-shapes-beach/. Many of these are created by an artist called Julian Richardson who used to make crop circles, but not all are. Again, we see a lack of footprints that would be present if humans were involved.

The most inexplicable and mysterious of these alternative crop circles are in grass. These have appeared in several places and are believed to have started in the Netherlands; indeed Crop Circle Connector has started reporting them as well, see: http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2014/hoeven2/hoeven2014b.html. However there are much older records of grass circles in southern Africa. The first mention of them can be found in literature of explorers from around 1920 and it describes strange circular formations in the grasslands of the Namib Desert, a sparsely-habited arid region that stretches along the coast of southwest Africa from southern Angola to the Cape Province of South Africa, see: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/3587431.stm. Many scientists have proposed explanations such as the activity of termites, soil chemistry and a collective plant growth strategy connected to the dry climate. However the people of the local Himba culture call them "fairy circles" and believe they are the work of Mukuru, their creator god. In the absence of any other conclusion why should we not take that possibility seriously? Fairy circles are not to be confused with fairy rings. Fairy rings are mushrooms that grow in a circle on grass in wetter climes; and this is simply caused by the mycelium, the underground part of the fungus, spreading into the soil and consuming nutrients in a particular way. Grass rings have no such obvious mundane explanations and therefore I must speculate that they have more in common with the crop circle phenomenon than they do with biological forces. Also it seems grass circles are spreading. They've been observed in parts of Australia as well as outside their heartland in the Namib Desert. Could this mean that the "artist", whoever... or whatever... they are, wants more people to see their portfolio?

Men-Only Bowls Club

Chesterfield Bowling Club claims to be the oldest in the world. It was established in 1294 at its current home ground in Derbyshire. It has always been a club for men only yet a former member has accused it of being "stuck in its ways". He has left and joined a mixed-sex bowls club. Bowls is a traditional English game usually played by older people. It is generally more popular with men, but that doesn't mean something is wrong that needs to be fixed; it's just that human nature varies when generalizing groups. There is nothing preventing any woman who wants to play bowls from playing. This is a point I brought up when several people complained that there were supposedly not enough female UFOlogists. In fact attempts to force a balance in such circumstances can be extremely destructive, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2016/10/adx-files-38-women-in-ufology.html. Chesterfield Bowling Club is not entirely men only; they have a "ladies day" once a year and there is an old photo of such an event in the source article below. They have polled their members and voted to remain men-only. This is despite the former member blaming this supposed stodginess for the club's financial problems. They are old even by the standards of the sport; the youngest member is sixty-six. Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-41011618. I'm glad they have stuck by their principles and it's a shame the Royal Troon Golf Club did not, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/royal-troon-admits-women.html. The issue here is the double standard. Feminists who object to man-spaces invariably are open and proud members of woman-spaces. There are Women's Institute branches all over the world. Every academic institution has a women's organization, along with black groups and LGBT groups etc. It is only white heterosexual males who are denied this right to free association and self-actualization. This is not fair and I think there is a sinister mind control agenda behind it. And, so predictably... there is a women's bowls club too, see: http://www.wwba.co.uk/.
See here for background and more details: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/women-only-coaches.html.

2017 American Eclipse

Solar eclipses are not rare events; in fact a total eclipse of the sun occurs at least once every eighteen months. They don't always occur in the same place though and a single spot on the earth will experience totality only about once every three to four hundred years on average. I've never seen a total eclipse although there have been two in Oxford that have been close to total in recent decades, 1999 and 2015. Tomorrow there will be an eclipse that will be called "the Great American Eclipse" because its route looks almost designed to provide the best view from within the United States of America. The USA is still one of the most powerful and influential nations on earth, therefore this eclipse is being widely publicized. It will begin at dawn in the central Pacific Ocean and will head for the US west coast appearing first in Oregon at 9.05 AM local time, that's 5.05 PM British Summer Time. The path of totality will be a seventy-mile-wide corridor running from the Pacific North West and Rocky Mountain states of Oregon, Idaho and Wyoming; then into Nebraska, Missouri and through the Deep South states through to the Atlantic coast at Charleston, South Carolina. A person standing still at sea level will experience two minutes and forty seconds of totality. Outside the totality zone the eclipse will be a partial one to a greater or lesser degree. It will be visible from northwest Europe only as a bite-sized partial segment just before sunset. The cause of a solar eclipse is very simple; the moon travels between the sun and the earth blocking out some or all of its rays. The experience is like night suddenly falling for a short time; no longer than seven minutes thirty-two seconds. It's easy to work out when eclipses will occur in the future by calculating the movement of the moon and sun with the rotation of the earth, see: https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/solar/2017-august-21.

However, for superstitious people, the experience of an eclipse can be frightening and loaded with meaning, usually malevolent. Eclipses have been responsible for hysteria, mass-panic, belief that the world has ended and multiple suicides. The USA in the early 21st century is sadly not immune to this and there almost certainly will be some kind adverse action tomorrow afternoon for particular kinds of people, especially in rural and insular areas of the country where the Bible and the gun still rule as the twin pillars of civilization. It doesn't help that the first place in America to see the eclipse is called Salem. This is an infamous name in American history because in 1692 there was a trial in Salem in which twenty people were convicted of witchcraft in a scene reminiscent of medieval Europe. Most of them were hung from trees and the others died in prison. This crime took place in a different Salem though; one in Essex County, Massachusetts on the other end of the continent; the Salem that will start the eclipse lies near the coast of Oregon. Nevertheless the same name alone might be enough to convince some Americans that this is the date chosen by God to initiate the Last Days as foretold in the Book of Revelations. Who knows what people in that state of mind might do? As a result the emergency services and National Guard will be on standby, especially in and around Salem. Many Americans are followers of Wicca, a neopagan religion inspired by ancient pre-Christian British rites. The eclipse is called the "Black Moon" in Wicca and it is very meaningful spiritually, but not necessarily bad. Source: http://www.neonnettle.com/features/1128-monday-s-total-solar-eclipse-has-us-national-guard-on-standby-here-s-why. The same goes for its significance in astrology, see: https://astrologyking.com/solar-eclipse-august-2017/. The focus on the United States with this eclipse may be a portent for radical change in that country, perhaps it is connected to the rise of Donald Trump and the "2016 Effect", see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2017/01/coronation-of-god-emperor.html. This is also the day that the first commercial flight will land at St Helena Airport, although the eclipse will not be visible from the island, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/st-helena-airport-maiden-flight.html. Noon on that same day has also been chosen... coincidentally, for the moment when Big Ben's chimes stop for about four years of building work, see: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-40922169. There are many public events, street parties and other celebrations to mark the eclipse. I hope my American readers all enjoy it. Be careful not to look at the sun without one of the safe viewing methods, see: https://www.space.com/33797-total-solar-eclipse-2017-guide.html. Also tune into Space Weather on the HPANWO Show on HPANWO Radio for a complete report next Thursday, see links column.

St Helena Airport Maiden Flight

Back in June, the access contract for St Helena Airport was signed. It was awarded to the South African operator SA Airlink, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2017/06/st-helena-airport-access-contract.html. The airline will be carrying out the first ever commercial flight to St Helena Airport on Monday the 21st of August 2017 (Oddly enough this will be the day of the Great American Eclipse; are these people astrologers?). The aircraft will be SA Airlink's brand new Embraer E190, a medium range twin-engine jet that can carry between eighty to a hundred and twenty-four passengers. Unfortunately all the tickets have been reserved for VIP's among the SA Airlink executives and the St Helena Government on this historic celebratory flight; but if this proving flight goes well a full regular schedule will begin, and after that you will be able to purchase a ticket and fly to St Helena on easy terms. The route will eventually be extended to Ascension. The plane will depart Johannesburg at 7 AM local time, that's 6 AM British Summer Time, and will stopover at Windhoek in Namibia for half an hour before setting out over the Atlantic Ocean towards St Helena. It is expected to land on St Helena at 1.15 PM local time, that's 2.15 PM BST (St Helena does not change its clocks in spring and uses Greenwich Mean Time all year round). Source: https://whatthesaintsdidnext.com/2017/07/22/flights-st-helena-johannesburg-cape-town-announced/. The stay of execution for the faithful old RMS St Helena will then sadly be over and she will be retired in February next year. After that she will probably head for the breakers yard. This maiden commercial flight to St Helena is the final step in a process that was begun when construction of the airport commenced in 2012. I began covering this subject in March 2014, see background links below. The first ever landing at St Helena Airport took place there in September 2015; a Beechcraft light aircraft was sent there to help with a medical emergency. Since then there have been thirty-one other landings, mostly test missions, but there has been a helicopter as well and two military aircraft on classified missions; see background links below. However Monday's flight marks the start of normal access; in other words, it is the moment when St Helena Airport joins the international list of active passenger aviation transport hubs. This day, more than any other milestone, marks the moment when the gates of global society are swung open and the outside world pours in onto that little island. For better or for worse... or maybe a bit of both. There is no going back now. The dye is cast.

Ben Emlyn-Jones and Danielle at Bases at the Black Swan

The Bases at the Black Swan was one of the most enjoyable of the many public events the Bases Project has held, see background links below for details of some others. I interviewed Miles Johnston about the event and the upcoming one in Ireland here: http://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.co.uk/2017/07/programme-243-podcast-miles-johnston.html. I met up with many old friends and made a few new ones, such as Danielle. She had the most terrible journey to the Black Swan from her home in West Yorkshire. She was stopped by the police over a motoring offence that appeared too conveniently timed to be coincidental. She had her car impounded and would have had it confiscated permanently if it hadn't been for the solidarity and generosity of the Bases Project delegation. I introduced the open-mic experiencers session at the event and she was the first speaker, making her public live debut.
Danielle will shortly be a guest on HPANWO Radio, see the entry in the Links column for upcoming details and she has her own websites here: http://www.huskylight.com/ and: https://www.youtube.com/user/Martingale1510.

Sunday Express on Marcus Allen

For some reason there has been considerable mainstream media coverage of this year's Glastonbury Symposium, see: http://www.glastonburysymposium.co.uk/. I myself went along in 2010 and made one of my favourite HPANWO TV videos, Ben Goes on Tor!, see: http://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.co.uk/2010/07/ben-goes-on-tor.html. In those days only the specialized press of the UFO/conspiracy/paranormal and the mind/body/spirit communities; and the various overlaps thereof, covered it. Journals such as Nexus, Caduceus, Namaste etc. This year one of the speakers was Marcus Allen, the UK publisher of Nexus magazine. He's a good friend of mine and fellow researcher, specializing in the moon landings, and has been on HPANWO Radio many times, see: http://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/programme-179-podcast-marcus-allen.html. His lecture was reviewed by Jon Austin of the Sunday Express and... ultimate spoiler alert, it is not exactly Pulitzer Prize material. Source: http://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/838136/Moon-landings-hoax-Marcus-Allen-not-possible-Glastonbury-Symposium.

The content is vaguely factual, but includes some aversive elements. The very title is simplistic and misleading: "Secret Space Project- 'NASA had craft to reach moon... but hoaxed Apollo missions instead'." It is intended to make the reader scoff, and hopefully read no further. The true relationship between the secret space programme and NASA's public equivalent is complex, but explicable. Marcus and I delve into it in our interviews and also there is more information in the background links below. The article begins: "A top lunar landings denier." Any description of a person's beliefs that includes the suffix "denier" is a personal slur. It is intended to connect in the reader's mind to "Holocaust denier" and thereby demonize the person. It is a tactic used by people like George Monbiot, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2011/02/death-to-climate-change-deniers.html. "Shocking claim" is just a piece of shallow rhetoric. Why use the adjective "shocking"? "Shocking" is a position on a purely emotional and qualitative gauge. It says nothing about how much or little evidence exists to support or discredit the claim. It is similar to Carl Sagan's cliche "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary explanations." See here for more details: https://youtu.be/Oxfmkn7QygY?t=26m18s. "Mr Allen is the UK publisher of 'alternative news' magazine Nexus." "Alternative news" is put into scare-quotes so that the reader will intuit an implicit pejorative subtext. This is done in a similar way to how the mainstream media use the phrase "fake news". The same goes for the old lines "moon hoax conspiracy theorist" (repeated twice) and "The far-fetched conspiracy theory." If a trick keeps working, why not keep using it? "It is then claimed that specialist scientists aided by Nazi's, who worked for the US in return for immunity from war crimes trials." This refers to Operation Paperclip and it is not a "claim"; it is historical fact. After the destruction of Nazi Germany at the end of World War II, Hitler's scientists were given the choice of working for the victorious allies or going to Nuremburg. The best known of these scientists is Wernher von Braun. Many of these experts were also working in the field of electrogravitics and this would have included the back-engineering of extraterrestrial technology that used it, see background links for details. "Believers even claim that the high-tech craft are secretly flown into space." The word "believers" is another dysphemism; it echoes phrases like "believers in the cult of the Lemonade Fountain" etc. It prevents the readers understanding that people like Marcus have come to this field of study via a careful scientific analysis of the evidence. As always with the mainstream media, it is the comments under the article that are far more interesting than the article itself; and based on those, apart from the usual idiots of course, I'm pleased to say that the propaganda in this screed does not appear to have fooled as many people as the authors and editor would probably like. We're almost at the fiftieth anniversary of the Apollo moon missions. NASA know this is going to be a massive informational choke point for them, possibly too massive to prevent the truth exploding out... and I'm going to be squeezing hard on their necks!

The Larry Warren Controversy- Part 20

In the background link above you will see my review of Nick Pope's article "Theft at East Gate" in the latest issue of Outer Limits Magazine. Now Larry has given his own assessment of the publication in a new video with Tino.
See here for the YouTube version: (coming soon)
In the video Larry proposes a new idea for a conference that I do hope will be realized. Obviously I'll be sure to cover it in extensive detail should the event go ahead.

Big Brother House Haunted

Celebrity Big Brother 2017 is underway. This Orwellian TV franchise has been running for twenty years and has been exported to fifty-four countries. The latest instalment of evictions, arguments, communal sleeping and cameras in the toilet stars a number of celebrities; however, and maybe I'm just displaying my alienation from popular culture, I have only heard of one of these people, Derek Acorah, see: http://bigbrother.channel5.com/housemates. Derek Acorah is a self-styled psychic medium who has risen to the heights of stardom via his professed ability to talk to the dead. He became famous as one of the hosts of Most Haunted. David Icke has also had readings with him. Despite this, his psychic ability has been called into question and a few times he has been caught out cheating. He once claimed to channel the spirit of a dead South African prisoner warder called Kreed Kafer. He was actually hot reading disinformation he had been fed. Kreed Kafer never existed and was only invented by some skeptics who wanted to catch Acorah out. The name is an anagram of "Derek faker". Therefore quite a few TV viewers will be rolling their eyes and folding their arms over Acorah's latest scoop. He says that the Big Brother house is haunted by the ghosts of two housemates from previous series. David Gest was a TV actor and the ex-husband of the actress Liza Minnelli. He was in the 2016 Celebrity Big Brother and died a few months later of a stroke. Jade Goody appeared in the 2002 season of Big Brother and went on to become a household name. She returned to the series in Celebrity Big Brother 2007. She died of cervical cancer at the tender age of twenty-seven. Derek Acorah says he has seen the spirits of both former contestants in the house as well as orbs and mist. Source: http://metro.co.uk/2017/08/02/derek-acorah-claims-celebrity-big-brother-house-is-haunted-by-the-ghosts-of-jade-goody-and-david-gest-6825266/.

Just because a psychic medium carries out fraud does not necessarily follow that they are not a real medium, but it does totally ruin their credibility. Some genuine mediums will fake the effects when they're having trouble connecting to spirit. I advise never to be tempted into that. It is better to be honest with the audience, tell them the spirits are simply not cooperating tonight and offer them their money back. One reason Acorah may be blagging again this time is because Jade Goody might not be dead. Like Jo Cox MP (see background links below), she may have faked her own death and is now living a long way from her previous home under a new identity. This was suggested by Ian R Crane in one of his lectures and there is good reason to suggest this. Firstly, despite being terminally ill she does not look very sick in her photos at the time. She lost her hair, allegedly due to chemotherapy, but did not loose much weight or exhibit any other obvious symptoms. The way her diagnosis was revealed to her was extraordinary. She was a housemate in the Indian version of the show, called Bigg Boss, when she was called to the diary room and given the news on the phone by her doctor in England. She was then allowed to return to the house where she broke down in tears and was consoled by the other housemates, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhVefAit_K8. Under no circumstances would any doctor consult with a patient in that manner, especially when it comes to news that is so terrible. What would have happened is that Jade would be called to the diary room and told by Big Brother that she had to leave the house for medical reasons. She would then be taken to the surgery and told by the doctor in person. In fact it is unlikely that she would even have been allowed to be a contestant while undergoing tests for the disease. This was a test for the cancer itself, not just a positive papilloma smear test. Why would Jade fake her own death? Ian suspects it is to help market "Gardesil", the human papilloma virus vaccine, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fk7ydeFPxs. I'm not sure about this. Jade Goody would be a bad choice for this kind of scam because her personality is not one I would judge as being good for keeping a secret.

Seth Rich Murder and Wikileaks

The serendipity that follows Bill and Hillary Clinton has claimed another name for its notorious body count. In 2016 Wikileaks released a series of emails that revealed corruption at the Democratic National Convention. The emails were about how the Convention was plotting to sabotage the presidential run of Bernie Sanders and make sure that Hillary Clinton was the only candidate for President. This is why it was doubly frustrating when the old fool went and endorsed her; see background links below for details. The chairwoman of the Convention, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, resigned, but it stopped there. In a just world this kind of perversion of the political process should result in a criminal investigation that would be bigger than Watergate, but so far President Trump has not ordered one; could this be because Trump might now compromised, see: http://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.co.uk/2017/04/counter-trumpening.html? The leak was allegedly obtained by a hacker, or team of hackers, codenamed "Guccifer 2.0". The identity of this source has never been revealed. He/she/they claim to be Romanian IT technicians, but there is no evidence for or against this. However, following the event a young staffer at the Convention, a political scientist named Seth Rich, was murdered. He was shot dead in the streets of Washington DC and the police claim that it was an attempted robbery. However nothing was taken from his pockets. As David Icke would say: "Just a coincidence, nothing to worry about." Mr Rich's family support the police findings and ask people like me not to speculate otherwise because it adds to their grief. This is not my intention; nevertheless if we have reason to be suspicious then we have a duty to speak out. If we don't, others in the future might have to die for the Rich family's feelings. This is the same argument used over and over again by 9/11 and 7/7 official story-believers, see: http://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/how-to-show-respect-to-victims-of-911.html. The people who spoke out claiming that Seth Rich's death was another Clinton revenge attack were branded "conspiracy theorists". However this all changed when Seymour Hersh, one of America's most experienced and respected journalists, announced that Seth Rich was indeed the deep throat in the DNC from which the emails had been divulged to Wikileaks; this was revealed by an alleged source of his in the FBI. It was not a Romanian hacker at all; it was an insider, Seth Rich. This is not something a man in Hersh's position would have said lightly. To qualify, Hersh does not dispute the police report on Seth Rich's shooting, but his revelations do lend weight to the possibility of an assassination and cover up. Source: http://www.wnd.com/2017/08/bombshell-dropped-on-seth-rich-murder-mystery/. At the time of writing, the DNC has yet to comment.

The deception might run even deeper than this though. Is Wikileaks itself a trustworthy source at all? For several years Richard D Hall has been claiming that Julian Assange, Edward Snowden and Bradley/Chelsea Manning are all controlled opposition. When Richard said this he made it clear that he was one hundred percent certain that this was the case. Richard tends to embrace certainty too hastily in my view, and this has led him to make several mistakes; see background links for details. I disagreed with him at the time about Wikileaks et al. Nevertheless he has recently published a new episode of Richplanet TV where he and Andrew Johnson present additional evidence against the authenticity of Julian Assange and Wikileaks that is very compelling. They have raised questions that must be answered: Assange's family connections to a religious cult, his apparently unfiltered presence in the media, his involvement with government cyber-security projects and much more, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2WSI_M15-k. This information will have to be taken into account when it comes to future supposed exposés being released from Wikileaks. There may be another explanation for the allegations made by Richard and Andrew, but I can't think of one right now. How does this affect the DNC corruption scandal and the murder of Seth Rich?

Another 9/11 No-Show in Dubai

There has been a second skyscraper fire in Dubai in as many years. Following the New Year conflagration of the Address Downtown another of the city's iconic high-rises has gone up in flames, this time it is the now facetiously named Torch Tower. The type of fire is very similar in nature to the tragedy at Grenfell Tower, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2017/06/grenfell-tower-fire.html. However because this is a luxury block of flats and not a council human rubbish stack for people the authorities consider worthless, it has alarms, detectors, sprinklers and all the other necessary emergency appliances needed that Grenfell lacked; therefore all the residents were successfully evacuated to safety. Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4759064/High-rise-residential-block-Dubai-bursts-flames.html. Again though, I have waited for it to turn into a cloud of dust, and yet again it has not. The background links below provide all the other examples.

Ben Emlyn-Jones at Weird Weekend North

I will be speaking at the Weird Weekend North event, Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th of April 2018. My talk will be entitled: Helen Duncan- Wartime Psychic Jailed. In 1944 the psychic medium Helen Duncan was put on trial under the two hundred year old Witchcraft Act of 1735 because she was accused of defrauding the public by staging a fake seance. An open and shut case? Or was something else more complicated and furtive going on, something related to wartime secrets and espionage?
The original Weird Weekend has taken place in Devon for a number of years and is organized by the Centre for Fortean Zoology; this is an affiliate for the North Country, hence the name. The venue is the Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Hall, Manchester Road, Hollins Green, Warrington, Cheshire and Greater Manchester border, WA3-6JZ. Tickets cost £30 for the whole weekend; very cheap. See here for details: http://glenvaudrey.wixsite.com/weird-weekend-north.

Jim Marrs Dies

I'm very sorry to report that Jim Marrs has died. He passed away after an illness. Jim was a veteran conspiracy theorist from another age. Long before the internet he was investigating UFO's, secret government activities and hidden technology. He wrote several conspiratorial classics such as Crossfire- the Plot that Killed Kennedy, that inspired Oliver Stone's film JFK. See here for more information: http://hpanwo.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/the-kennedy-assassination-50-years-on.html. He has written a dozen other books on all kinds of UFO/conspiracy/paranormal matters, His work on the Aurora Incident has indicated strongly that this was the first ever recorded UFO crash-retrieval, see here for details: http://hpanwo.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/pre-roswell-roswells.html. With his big white beard and cowboy hat he was an unmistakable sight at conferences and TV shows. He did numerous lectures and radio interviews. He will be sadly missed. RIP, Jim.

Alien Actor meets Real Aliens

I consider Ridley Scott's 1979 film Alien the best science fiction horror movie ever made. It has spawned an entire franchise of sequels; but all of them fail, to lesser or greater degrees, to rival the splendour of the original. Like all good horror movies, its power comes more from a good knowledge of human psychology than gruesome special effects. What truly scares people deep down? With Alien it is quite often the projected fear of the characters. The acting is so brilliant that the expression on people's faces when they see the creature has more impact than when the viewer sees it themselves. The actor Yaphet Kotto's performance was one of the best in the film. Kotto is also well-known for playing the best ever James Bond bad-guy in Live and Let Die. Now, at the age of seventy-seven, he has announced publicly that he has had real alien contact. Judging by his ripe old age he has clearly encountered real aliens that are far less homicidal than their fictional counterpart. Kotto is from an African Jewish family and Africa is a continent with a long and deep tradition for extraterrestrial visitation that is often overlooked by conventional UFOlogy, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/goblin-in-suitcase-scares-cops.html and: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/city-in-sky.html. His experiences began when he was aged nine or ten at his home in the Bronx, New York USA. He saw a creature one day when he was playing with his friends in the street. He also regularly saw UFO's above his house. These events followed him as he travelled, even when he moved to the Philippines. Even when he was in the production of Alien, ironically, he had sightings of real aliens. He once had a close encounter with a mothership that he describes as being "the size of Yankee Stadium". Some of these events involve missing time. Until now only his wife, psychoanalyst and rabbi know about this factor of his life. His wife was with him and shared one of his sightings. The skeptics predictably questioned his mental health, but he says he is perfectly sane and very intelligent; he claims he has an IQ of 196. He also denies that he's seeking fame and fortune. He is already a famous actor who has earned a very healthy living from his talents; he's not writing a book or making a movie that he needs to promote. Like many other contactees, he feels a sense of compassion for the planet earth and wants to help the aliens save it. Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4744726/Actor-1979-Alien-says-s-abducted-real-life.html. Far from gaining anything, Kotto has a lot to lose be describing his experiences publicly. Everybody who has alien contact experience faces the threat of ridicule and rejection by their family, acquaintances and friends; but for celebrities this risk is far greater because they are recognized by so many other people as well. So well done, Mr Kotto, for speaking out. Good luck and I hope you don't have to endure too much aggravation.

Mysterious Peruvian Mummies

The news of some strange mummified bodies being found in Peru hit the internet earlier in the year. Some unnamed individuals had located six desiccated humanoid cadavers in the region of Peru near the famous Nazca Lines. This is quite close to the Atacama Desert where "Ata", the tiny humanoid investigated by Dr Steven Greer was unearthed, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5C_-HLD21hA. So this is not the first time signs of life possibly not of this planet have emerged in that part of the world. The people who found the mummies alerted a local researcher who in turn contacted the famous Mexican UFOlogist Jaime Maussan. The Inca civilization that rose in Peru in the 13th century used to mummify bodies, but these mummies are different. They have strangely-shaped skulls and hands with only three very long fingers. Their feet only have three toes. A hand like this turned up a few months earlier in another place in Peru, see: https://hiddenincatours.com/strange-alien-hand-found-coast-peru/. The bodies have been hidden in a secret location. This is as much to protect them from black market treasure hunters as covert government interference. The downside is that mummies not kept in properly controlled conditions can deteriorate. Jaime Maussan managed to get carbon dating done on the bodies and they lived between AD 240 and 450, far older than the Inca culture. The institute running the investigation agreed to invite Steve Mera along to assess the situation. Steve is a good friend of mine who has a reputation for being level-headed and does not hesitate to call male cow excrement when required. He has also been supervising the research of Don Philips, see: http://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/programme-147-podcast-phenomena-project.html. Steve had to travel to Cusco, a city in Peru that used to be the capital of the Inca Empire until it was defeated by the Spanish conquistadors in the 16th century. His experience is reported by Brian Allan in his article in Phenomena magazine, see: http://www.phenomenamagazine.co.uk/. There was a tense atmosphere in the city. Steve's journey had been ridden with airport delays and once he'd arrived he was warned by his local guide not to speak openly about why he was there, including the mobile phone calls and texts he made. The Peruvian authorities were taking a keen interest in the matter. The local mainstream media were claiming it was a hoax. Then, in an occurrence that resembled a scene from an Indiana Jones movie, Steve and his team were picked up by a car which drove them to a secret location high in the Andes Mountains. He was warned to leave his mobile phone behind; alarmingly this was because of it potentially being used by intelligence agencies to track him. The first bodies they were shown were fakes and Steve said so, but it turned out this was some kind of test. More bodies were then brought in and the most interesting one was the largest, an adult female the size of a normal human, nicknamed "Maria". It was covered in a white powder that might be diatomite, a substance used in the process of making mummies.

It is vitally important to make sure that these specimens are real. It is still not long ago since the embarrassing debacle of the Roswell Slides, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/my-last-word-on-roswell-slides.html. This must have been very much on Jaime Maussan's mind at the following press conference. This was held on the 11th of July in Lima, Peru's capital. The dialogue was in Spanish, but Steve had an interpreter and he periscoped live on Facebook from the venue during the breaks. However the authorities remained uncooperative and Steve's wi-fi signal mysteriously failed at certain crucial moments. "Just a coincidence, nothing to worry about." as David Icke would say. The staff at the hotel where the conference took place were also very disruptive. At the same time the mainstream media were interviewing skeptic scientists who insisted that the mummies were all fakes. I was hoping this issue of Phenomena would provide a final answer, but it is too soon to tell for sure. In Steve's view, the large mummy is real and the smaller mummies are merely effigies of some kind. They might have been placed with the real mummy during burial for ceremonial reasons. The artefacts were found in quite a sizable tomb that could indicate "Maria" had been a personage of some importance. The mythology of North and South America speaks continuously about "Gods from the sky" coming to earth and interacting with humans in ancient times, as was documented many years ago by the Swiss researcher Erich von Däniken, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6dO91N0ZbQ. Could this be physical evidence that these old folk tales are true? This fascinating new case emerged just a short time after the aforementioned "Ata" and also the Starchild Skull from Mexico. The Paracas Skulls might also be such evidence, as well as the discoveries by Maria Wheatley. It might even turn out, with the ultimate irony, that there was a grain of truth behind the cringe-worthy story of the Roswell Slides, see background links below. It's a pity we don't yet know for sure. Steve did as good a job as he could against the hardships and hindrance he endured from the obstructive authorities. He also had altitude sickness because he comes from England and so is not used to climbing tall mountains. The good news is that he obtained all the data he needed from the mummified corpse. This will provide a full biological profile soon, so hopefully the answers are coming. I will post an update when they arrive.

The Larry Warren Controversy- Part 19

In previous articles in this series I've mentioned several times the curious involvement of Nick Pope in the Larry Warren controversy. I would have thought such matters were way off the bottom of his priority list; however, he has been wading into the scuffle with ever increasing enthusiasm. As with Sacha Christie, his involvement began with social media posts, but now it has progressed to an article in Outer Limits Magazine. This is the second of two articles he has contributed to Issue 9 of the magazine and the one in question can be found on page 58, see: https://issuu.com/scoop123/docs/olm_issue_9. It's called "Theft at East Gate"; that's the kind of pun Sacha normally comes up with and I can't help wondering if she devised it for him. Nevertheless the text itself does appear to be in Nick's own style so I don't deny he wrote that himself. Two points initially struck me during my first reading of this screed. Firstly, Nick makes a series of factual claims: Larry Warren forged documents, Larry Warren traded counterfeit rock and roll memorabilia, Larry Warren faked a photograph of himself with John Lennon, Larry Warren made threats of violence, Larry Warren purloined elements of his story from genuine witnesses, Larry Warren is not a military veteran and only completed his first phase of training, Larry Warren fooled Peter Robbins into believing him and Peter has now admitted it. All these claims I have examined in this series of articles as well as two radio interviews, see: http://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.co.uk/2017/05/programme-236-podcast-larry-warren.html and: http://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/programme-197-podcast-larry-warren.html, and a HPANWO TV film with Larry: http://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.co.uk/2017/05/larry-warren-in-rendlesham-forest-2017.html. My view is that they are simply false. I explain calmly, politely and rationally why I think that. What Nick writes in OLM is totally unoriginal. The second thing that strikes me is the tone; Nick uses a lot of angry rhetoric. The following phrases jump out at me as I skim the pages: "reflects a deeper misogyny"... "Shame on them"... "final unravelling"... "final nail in the coffin for Warren's credibility"... "half-dozen or so people dishonestly trying to spin events"... "took their beliefs and exploited them"... "shamefully chose to ignore it"... "I and many others find particularly offensive"... and it goes on. Nick Pope never mentions my name, but I am pretty sure most of these comments are primarily aimed at me. Excessive rhetoric is a sign of a weak argument. It is often used as a substitute for an empirical case where none exists. This kind of language is essentially an act of moral blackmail against the reader. It is warning them: "You'd better agree with me or you are a #BadPerson just like Larry Warren!" See here for more information: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/debating.html.

Nick Pope even claims that there is basically no room for debate at all; no valid space for disagreement. He says: "These Warren supporters, essentially just his friends and family trying to keep the story afloat, are trying to suggest that there is still a debate to be had about this... This isn't the kind of 'controversy' or 'split' that sometimes divides UFOlogy. The matter is beyond debate." And he goes on to compare Larry's story to the Hitler diaries and the Piltdown Man hoaxes; and he urges Larry to confess. Whenever somebody tells you that there is no debate to be had, they are essentially shutting down the discussion. They are excluding all people who differ with them, regardless of their reasons, from the dialogue. This is not only unethical and anti-intellectual; it is also another symptom of a weak evidence-free case. There is never any justification at all to deny somebody who disagrees with you the right of reply. I am perfectly willing to debate anybody... anybody, who thinks Larry Warren is a fraud, so long as they behave in a civil manner. If you go to Part 18, the previous article in this series, you'll see I do just that in the comments box with "MH". I refuse to engage with the central four members of the anti-Larry Warren contingent, but this is not because of their opinions; it is because of their conduct. To close the door on dissent is to fear the exposure rational peer-review will bring to what you know deep down is a logically unsustainable position. Interestingly Nick also compares Larry's story to the Roswell Slides. He says: "There is a parallel to be drawn between the Larry Warren fraud and the Roswell Slides fiasco. In both cases the wider UFO community were polarized until a small and disparate group of researchers came forward to expose the falsehood." The Roswell Slides are a totally different situation to Larry Warren. Larry's testimony is not an obvious deception that was only promoted by a handful of people in Mexico and was then proved to be wrong literally minutes after it was published. The Roswell Slides were not thoroughly examined and found to be true for over thirty years and were written about in one of the most popular UFOlogy books ever published. The Roswell Slides were not first called into question by a single person straight after they and the owner had had a very acrimonious personal bust-up. The idea that the Roswell Slides might be faked is not exclusively promoted by people who have been either flattered or intimidated into submission by that one person. The solitary piece of new information Nick tables is that Larry Warren was supposedly rumbled in 2000 by the journalist Georgina Bruni, author of the early classic among RFI books, You Can't Tell the People, see: https://www.amazon.co.uk/You-Cant-Tell-People-Definitive/dp/033039021X. Georgina Bruni is not available to give her side of the story; she sadly passed away in 2008. However, Larry has made another video with Tino to give his version. Nick portrays Larry and Bruni as bitter enemies, but they were actually quite good friends, see: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=736170389907977&id=100005450688010. Nick includes in the article a profile of the future: "Where do we go from here? What are the wider implications for the credibility of the Rendlesham Forest Incident and, indeed, the credibility of UFOlogy? What lessons can be learned?" I see the situation very differently from Nick for obvious reasons. He ends that section with these chilling words: "The UFO community will be able to say with justifiable pride that lessons were learned from this experience and that they weren't afraid to clean house. Because, frankly, if UFOlogy doesn't learn to police itself then nobody else will." UFOlogy already has four self-appointed policemen, people who are willing to carpet-bomb the entire community into fragments if only they can destroy their hated personal enemy; and it is personal, nothing more. Nick cannot have failed to hear the real tone these people use, the behaviour they have exhibited, and understand their true motivations. Nick, your article is nothing but a piece of propaganda. There is a brief editorial at the head of the first page which restates Outer Limits Magazine's neutral position in the controversy. They invite Larry Warren to write his own account of events for them to publish. About time too and I look forward to that! Maybe the inevitable and predictable response from the LWHC to Larry's own piece will give the journal a more enlightened viewpoint on this conflict.
